Am I eligible for a fully subsidised BigPurplePhone?
When you first activate your phone, you can enable the Safe Callers List. This will stop anyone who is not a saved Contact on the phone calling you. Only the Contacts that are saved to the BigPurplePhone can call.
When you set up your new BigPurplePhone make sure to add in all the people that you think will want to call - family, friends, the doctor and the dentist for example.
If a person is not on that list then they cannot get through with Safe Callers List enabled. Read more here.
Yes, the BigPurplePhone SilverFox does. You have the option of adding a web browser, Gmail, iCloud Mail, Outlook and Yahoo! Mail to the phone using the Carer's Website or the Manage feature. However, the BigPurplePhone Talk&Text edition does not have the ability to add any web browser or email applications.
On BigPurplePhone SilverFox edition, there is an extra large icon setting Manage > Phone > Icon size which can be set to 'Large'. This makes the home screen buttons and the Contacts even larger - ideal for those with vision impairment such as Macular Degeneration.
If you are part of the MyAgedCare and NDIS support programs, yes. You can create an invoice in the checkout. Here is a guide to securing your free phone.
